About Mark Kendall

I started traveling at the tender young age of 28...... talk about a a late start, but since then I have been to 18 countries, taking photos where ever I go. My home town is Coolum Beach, Queensland Australia, but I currently live in Singapore, previously Osaka Japan, and Canada. If I was to give advise to anyone it would be travel, you'll be a better person for it. If you can work outside your own Country/Culture even better!!

I really enjoy the outdoors, which is kind of ironic given that I have been living in hotels for about the last 7 years, So when possible I choose to travel to simple places well submersed in the environment.

I was employed by Hyatt Hotels and have been for 18 years, 12 of which has been in the capacity of Information Systems Manager, a senior management position at property level, given the time I've stayed with Hyatt, they are obviously a great company to work for. However just recently started to work for Cisco Systems also still based in Singapore.

My experience has mainly focused on innovation projects predominantly at regional level. I specialize in Hotel Technology and Infrastructure, hence my move to Cisco is specializing in the Hotel field.
